Aluminium Cladding and SFS at Genome Campus, Cambridge

We’ve just wrapped up an exciting project at the Wellcome Genome Campus in Hinxton, where Kladworx were called in to design and install a brand-new aluminium cladding system. The finished product not only enhances the look of the existing structure but also provides excellent protection – it’s tough, weather-resistant, and built to last.

Here’s what we installed:

🛠 Secret Fix Interlocking Aluminium Cladding – This stuff is sleek, modern, and doesn’t flinch at the worst weather – it’s going to look good for years to come.
🛠 Aluminium Battens – A bespoke batten façade designed specifically for the unusual space.
🛠 Aluminium Fascias & Flashings – Each piece was custom-made, delivering a clean, weather-tight façade.
🛠 Steel Framing System (SFS) – Supporting the external envelope, this solid foundation will keep the whole structure robust for the long haul.

We got it all done while working in a live campus environment, making sure everything ran smoothly without interrupting their day-to-day operations. And, of course, strict Health & Safety guidelines were followed every step of the way.
