Aluminium Cladding and Helping hand support system supplied to E3 Exchange , London

Introduction

Aluminium cladding to a 92 unit development set on the Limehouse cut, in London E3. The client and developer required a non combustible solution to the external cladding to keep in line with current legislation, whilst ensure they wont face any legacy issues in the future.

They were requiring a flexible panel module solution, which could be adapted and cut if required, whilst being able to offer the aesthetic colour choice required under planning constraints.

The Works

Kladworx offered a 3mm aluminium flat panel system with accompanying helping hand support brackets to adjust the cladding due to various cavity depths, which met a minimum of A2 certification and had been tested to a CWCT certification.

There was also aluminium coping to all terrace and roof parapet walls with various obtuse angles which was fully measured and fabricated much to the clients approval. Kladworx also supplied the several metal flashing and aluminium column casing all to match in with the designers requirements.

One major concern was the lead in time, as many other manufacturers had extensive lead ins, however all schedules were met on time and program constraints.

From the customer:

“Kladworx’s experience was so helpful to call upon, and the finished result was impressive, we would definately work with them again”. Bob Dempsey, Project Manager
